Nope! A physician’s referral is no longer necessary to attend physical therapy by most insurance companies. If you are referred to recieve physical therapy by your physician, it is your choice as the patient to choose your physical therapy provider. You can receive treatment from any facility you desire!
Most likely. We at Pinnacle accept most major commercial insurances, Medicare, and workers’ compensation. We make an effort to provide reasonable charges for cash pay patients at time of service as well. Please call our office (937-419-1491) to discuss insurance coverage.

If your call if not during normal business hours (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8AM to 6PM) and you receive our answering machine, please leave a message with all relevant information, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We do NOT do walk-in’s. Scheduling is flexible.
Pinnacle Sports Therapy was founded in 2019 by Jim Spitzer, a licensed physical therapist with 25 years of experience. He received his license from the Medical College of Ohio and has had his own private practice since 2006 when he opened Versailles Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation in Versailles, Ohio. All services at both Versailles Physical Therapy and Pinnacle Sports Therapy are provided by a fully licensed Physical Therapist. No assistants or aides provide treatments.
We are located in Fort Loramie, Ohio at 700 E Park Street across from the High School. Currently, when you enter our address into Google Maps, it says there are two locations in Fort Loramie with the exact same address – one is our office and the other is a Casey’s gas station in town on Main Street. We apologize for the confusion and are working on getting this corrected.
We have a second location in Versailles, Ohio called Versailles Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation. If this is a more convenient location for you, please call our Versailles office (937-526-5262) to discuss your needs and set up an appointment.
How Can a Physical Therapist Help Me?
Physical therapists are good people to know. Their mission is to help restore lost function such as strength, range of motion, balance, endurance, and coordination. They are also excellent in treating painful conditions that originate in the muscles, joints, bones, and nerves. They receive years of highly specialized training that helps them identify the underlying injury or problem and to develop a successful treatment plan in order to help you return to normal.
